On 14 November 2009 the Pine Rivers Aeronautical Model Society Inc (PRAMS) merged with the Wamuran Model Airplane Club and became the Sports Aeromodellers Association Moreton Bay Region Inc.
SAAMBR caters primarily to Radio Controlled model aircraft and helicopters, with nearly all facets of the hobby enjoyed by our members. We offer training for those interested in learning to fly a radio controlled model aircraft or helicopter and our longer term members are always willing to give advice to the newer members on building techniques etc. If you are at all interested in learning to fly R/C or would like to see the aircraft operating come along to the field. There is activity every morning (weather permitting) and our busiest times are all day on weekends.
